First things first, what should you say in your review?

Your review doesn’t have to be very long. It can just be a sentence or two about what you liked about the book, what you felt when you read the book, why other people should read it, how your children/grandchildren reacted to it, etc. For some inspiration, here are some reviews that have already been posted.

First, I’ll share a few reviews — on the right — so you can get an idea of what some people have said about my books.

Then, I’ve added links, below, so you can add your words to either Amazon or Goodreads.  Both are valued spaces for book reviews.

If you have an Amazon account that you use regularly, you can leave your review there. If not, you can get an account on Goodreads which is a great site for readers.

How to leave an Amazon review

​​​1. Click here to review The Not Quite Right Cake on Amazon or click here to review The Magic Vest on Amazon (once you read these instructions!)

​​​2. Scroll down to where it says, “Customer reviews” on the left (keep going past the Product description and Product details)

3. ​Tap the Write a customer review button, where it says, “Review this product.”​
4. Log in to your Amazon account.
5. Click on the stars to enter your rating out of 5 stars, then enter a headline, and your review in the text box.
6. Where it says “Choose your public name,” you can put your name or just your initials. 

7. When you’re ready, click Submit 🎉 and you're done!!

How to leave review on Goodreads

Goodreads is a free site, and is loaded with fabulous content! 

​​​1. Click here to review The Not Quite Right Cake on Goodreads, or click here to review The Magic Vest on Goodreads (once you read these instructions!)

​​​2. Scroll down and click where it says, “Start your review” and click on “Write a Review”​
3. You’ll be asked to sign into your account, or create a new one
4. Select your rating out of 5 stars and write your review in the text box. 
5. When you’re done, click Post 🎉
